Famously called as ‘Heaven on Earth’ Srinagar is a major tourist attraction. Travel to Srinagar promises you scenic beauty, boating on the picturesque Dal Lake & some lips-smacking Kashmiri Cuisine. This journey also takes you to Kargil, where you visit the War Memorial and get to know about the stories of brave hearts who fought for our nation. Blessed with ethereal mountain beauty, Ladakh attracts tourists from across the world. Ladakh is known for its colorful culture, which has its own unique charm. Ladakh is popularly known as “Little Tibet” as its culture is highly influenced by Tibetan culture. Spectacularly jagged, arid mountains enfold this magical Buddhist ex-kingdom. Picture-perfect Gompa (Tibetan Buddhist monasteries), dramatically crowned rocky outcrops amid whitewashed stupas and mani walls are a sight to behold. Colorful fluttering prayer flags share their spiritual messages metaphorically with the mountain breeze. The prayer wheels spun clockwise release more merit-making mantras. Gompa interiors are colorfully awash with the murals and statuary of countless bodhisattvas.
