Hailed as the land of Billy Arjan Singh, and his famous Tigress Tara, and Leopards Prince, Juliette & Harriett, Dudhwa is a lesser explored gem in the Terai Arc. Located on the Indo-Nepal border, Dudhwa National Park represents one of the few remaining examples of a highly diverse and productive Terai ecosystem, supporting a large number of endangered species and tall wet grasslands.
Dudhwa shares closeness with few other wildlife hotspots such as the Kishanpur WLS, renowned for its bold tigers; Katerniaghat WLS a haven for the Lesser Cats & also Pilibhit, another Tiger Reserve in the area. Look out for Rhinos, Elephants & Tigers hidden within the dense canopy; and if you’re lucky you could find a Fishing Cat too!

Board the flight to Lucknow. Arrival in Lucknow and transfer to Dudhwa by AC Vehicle, lunch en-route. Arrive at Dudhwa by afternoon. Check-in at resort and set out for an evening safari. Later dinner and overnight at resort.
Leave early in the morning for Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary. Reach Kishanpur for a hearty breakfast, and leave for the morning safari. Enjoy a sumptuous meal in the Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary amidst the forests and set out for the evening safari. Leave back for Dudhwa, later dinner and overnight at resort.
Leave early in the morning for Katerniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary with packed breakfast and lunch. Enjoy morning and evening boat rides at Katerniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary in the Gerva/Karnali River to check out glimpses of Gharials,Gangetic Dolphins, Grey Headed Fish Eagles and much more. Leave back for Dudhwa, later dinner and overnight at resort.
Today we shall set out for a morning safari through the interiors of Dudhwa exploring the wild Sal forest of Dudhwa, tracing tigers and other wildlife. Back to resort for breakfast. Post Breakfast at leisure. Lunch will be served at the resort. Post lunch yet another jungle visit in open jeep. Later dinner and overnight at resort.
Today is our last safari at Dudhwa, after enjoying the morning safari we will have a hearty breakfast and head back on our way to Lucknow. Later transfer to the airport and board the respective flights back home with endless memories of the beautiful forest.

- What to expect when in Dudhwa?
Main attraction in Dudhwa is the Tiger and Swamp Deer. Apart from this, one can also see the Sambar Deer, Barking Deer, Spotted Deer, Sloth Bears, Jackals, Civets, Jungle Cats etc. Variety of avifauna like the Swamp Francolin, Sarus Cranes, Woodpeckers, Barbets, Kingfishers, Fishing Eagles etc can be spotted here.
- Is it safe?
Open jeep safaris & even nature trails conducted by us follow the highest safety standards, and we take all necessary precautions involved. We respect the wild animals and their comfort, and keep adequate distance while photographing them. However its worthy of noting, that being cautious goes a long way in preventing any mishaps.
- What is the usual sharing in vehicles & accommodation?
The accommodations are always on double sharing basis unless otherwise opted for. Single sharing basis attracts an additional nominal fee, while triple sharing allows you to be eligible for a small discount.
Safari vehicles as well as internal transit vehicles (such as SUVs) are usually shared between 6 people, unless indicated otherwise. Specific Photography Mentoring Tours have 4-in-a-vehicle. Exclusive jeeps can be reserved by a group after paying a surcharge.(group size less than 6)
- How is the climate in Dudhwa?
Summers here are hot with temperatures rising upto 40 degrees Celsius. Winters get cold with temperatures going down to 4 degrees Celsius. Traveling during both the seasons has its perks!

- What do I pack for my travel?
Apart from the season wise apparels, we recommend you to only wear comfortable clothes with colors that will go with the nature. Bright colors like red, orange, white, yellow etc are a strict no no. We will provide a detailed list of things to be carried before the tour.
