  1. Day 1 Mumbai-Entebbe

    Travel to Mumbai International Airport. Board the flight to Entebbe. On arrival, pick up and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

  2. Day 2 Kibale

    After an early breakfast, transfer to Fortportal / Kibale Forest National Park. The drive to Fort Portal is long, but incredibly scenic. You’ll pass through villages, lush green forests and hills dotted with tea plantations which characterize these parts of Uganda. You will then proceed to your lodge for dinner. Overnight at the lodge.

  3. Day 3 Kibale-Queen Elizabeth

    Post breakfast, leave for the Chimpanzee trek. In Uganda, there are approximately 5,000 chimpanzees left in the wild. The Chimpanzee Trekking experience here is done on several well maintained walking trails. There is also a wonderfully diverse concentration of other primates. Besides our delightful cousins, the Chimpanzees, you can find Red Colobus, Red-tailed Guenon, White-nosed Monkey, Gray-cheeked Mangabey, Blue Monkey, L’Hoest’s Monkey, and the Black Band White Colobus Monkey. In addition, you may see Olive baboons, bush babies and nocturnal pottos. The aim for your trekking through the jungle under the care of professional guide, is 1 hour of eye to eye contact with the Chimpanzees. We however cannot guarantee 100% for you to see them as they are wild animals, nevertheless your chances would be very good. After lunch, a 3 hour journey to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Scenic Queen Elizabeth National Park is the second largest park in the country and located at the base of the majestic Rwenzori Mountain range, next to Lake Edward and Lake George which are joined by the Kazinga channel. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

  4. Day 4 Queen Elizabeth

    You will start your morning game drive with the Lion Experiential Safari where you will drive with the researchers in search for the Lions. You will have an opportunity to get close to the lions. Then continue with the normal game drive in search for the other game like the Cape Buffalo, Elephants, Defassa Waterbuck, Uganda Kob, Topi, Bushbuck and different bird species with the help of the guide. This excellent game viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park will take between 3 to 4 hours drive. In the afternoon, you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel which joins Lake George and Lake Edward.
    Here, you will see a lot of Hippos (more than you can possibly imagine!), as well as a variety of other animals which come to the waterhole to drink or bathe. You can expect to see Buffalos, Crocodiles, Elephants, and a range of beautiful birds. This will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your tour. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

  5. Day 5 Queen Elizabeth-Bwindi

    You will continue with the exciting journey which will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park which is one of the most biologically diverse forests in Africa. Getting to this home of the Mountain Gorillas you pass through the Kigezi highlands, known as the ”Switzerland of Africa”, with terraced farming and mountain scenery at its best. You will proceed to your Lodge. Dinner and Overnight at lodge.

  6. Day 6 Bwindi

    This morning you will have to wake up early to get ready for Gorilla tracking, one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. You will drive to the reception for registration at 7.30am, then brief formalities and the Gorilla tracking will start at 8.30am. There are now only 650 of these wild creatures left in the world! Expect to adventurously trek through the Impenetrable forest before you encounter any gorillas which is definitely worthwhile as you observe them closely while they eat, play with the young ones, rest and act like humans.
    A unique and inspiring experience which one can’t miss! The Gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact. There are always park guides with who you interpret the flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. Tracking the gorillas will last for a few hours to a whole day depending on how far the gorilla group you are tracking is. When you get to the Gorilla Family, you will get to spend an hour with them which is a very memorable experience. Dinner and Overnight at lodge.

  7. Day 7 Bwindi-Entebbe-Mumbai

    Post breakfast, leave for Entebbe. This is a whole day journey through scenic roads, optionally you can opt for scheduled domestic flight to Entebbe. On arrival, transfer to the airport for your flight back home.

A tour to Uganda in search of Gorillas is an experience of a life time. This tour involves trekking through the mountains as we track this primate in its natural habitat. The temperature here is pleasant on an average. Highest being 25 degrees and lowest around 12 degrees Celsius.

Yes, apart from having a visa, it is mandatory to have Yellow Fever and Adult Polio Vaccinations before traveling to Uganda. These vaccinations are mandatory in many countries including India.

All treks conducted by us follow the highest safety standards, and we take all necessary precautions involved. We make sure there are locals involved in this activity as they can understand the behavioral pattern of the Gorillas and guide us throughout the trip. We respect the wild animals and their comfort, and keep adequate distance while photographing them. However its worthy of noting, that being cautious goes a long way in preventing any mishaps.

Apart from the stays in Forest Rest Houses; food menu is usually tailor made according to the group. Veg food is available at all locations, and Jain food can be arranged for if informed at the time of booking.
