Ever dreamt of searching for wildlife in these areas which you probably have never heard of or catching a glimpse of the elusive yet mystical SNOW LEOPARD?

Yes, this time we are really GOing WILD, taking you on this journey through the thick snow, cold temperatures and some adrenaline rush! A journey to witness a number of species like Wooly Hare, Red Fox, Blue Sheep, Ibex, Tibetan Wolf, Golden Eagle and the highlight of the tour, “The Ghost Of The Mountains”, the Snow Leopard.

  1. Day1 Arrival at Location

    Arrive at Leh by flight. Transfer to hotel. Rest and acclimatization for the whole day. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

  2. Day2 Scenic Tour of City

    Today, post breakfast, leave for Khardung La. This is the highest motor-able road in the world. Spend some time at the top and return back to Leh. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

  3. Day3 Cultural Minglings

    Leave for Pangong early in the morning. Today we pass the Chang – La which is at 17,350ft. It is the third highest motor-able road in the world. Enjoy the snow-capped mountains en-route. Spend time at the frozen Pangong lake and return to Leh by evening. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

  4. Day4 Get to Know Country

    Today we start our journey in search of the snow leopard. A 1 hr journey by road and a 45 minutes hike up the hill gets you to the campsite, which will be your home for the next few days. Stay in tented camps. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.

  5. Day5 Ride the Elephant

    Post early breakfast, spend the entire day in wildlife viewing with the local guides. Enjoy the thrill of tracking down a snow leopard in the wild. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.

  6. Day6 Discover the Sectrets

    Wake up to a new beginning in search of this ghost of the Himalayas. Hike up the mountains can get you lucky. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.

  7. Day7 Wild Adventure Begins

    Today again we spend the entire day in wildlife viewing with the help of local guides. Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the campsite.

  8. Day8 Leave with Memory

    Today, post breakfast, get ready for a 3 – 4 hrs hike to a different part of this region which is famous for sighting of Lynx. Lynx is a medium-sized mammal from the wild cat family. Spend the whole day in search of the Lynx with the help of local guides. Lunch, dinner and overnight at home stay.

Yes, flights can be opted thus saving one day at the start of the tour and the end; however certain flight timings do not coincide with the train timings; and thus the flight itinerary might make you compromise on the typical itinerary.

The accommodations are always on double sharing basis unless otherwise opted for. Single sharing basis attracts an additional nominal fee, while triple sharing allows you to be eligible for a small discount.

Safari vehicles as well as internal transit vehicles (such as SUVs) are usually shared between 6 people, unless indicated otherwise. Specific Photography Mentoring Tours have 4-in-a-vehicle. Exclusive jeeps can be reserved by an group of people after paying a surcharge.(group size less than 6)

Open jeep safaris & even nature trails conducted by us follow the highest safety standards, and we take all necessary precautions involved. We respect the wild animals and their comfort, and keep adequate distance while photographing them. However its worthy of noting, that being cautious goes a logn way in preventing any mishaps.

Apart from the stays in Forest Rest Houses; food menu is usually tailor made according to the group. Veg food is available at all locations, and Jain food can be arranged for if informed at the time of booking.
