A World Heritage Site, the Kaziranga National Park hosts two-thirds of the world’s Great One-horned Rhinoceroses. Kaziranga is recognized as an Important Bird Area by Birdlife International for conservation of avifaunal species. One of India’s best-known tourism mascots, the famed One-Horned Rhinoceros calls the expansive grasslands of this national park its native place. The park’s population of 1800-odd rhinos (just 200 in 1904) represents more than two-thirds of the world’s total. Kaziranga is a title of a remarkable success story of conservation of the One Horned India Rhinoceros and other wild lives in the North East India. It is not only the homeland of the Great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros, but also provides shelter to a variety of wild lives.
The Hoollongapar Gibbon Sanctuary located in Jorhat, Assam is an evergreen forest located in Assam. This sanctuary is home to the only apes in India, the Hoolock Gibbon. The Hoolock Gibbon is the second largest gibbon found. Finding these arboreal in the thick forest and photographing them adds a feather to every photographer’s hat!

Guwahati - Kaziranga
Board a flight to Guwahati. Arrival in Guwahati and today we will transfer to Kaziranga by AC Vehicle. We will have lunch en-route. Check into the hotel. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at resort.
Leave for the first safari into the wild. Enjoy the vast expanse of tall elephant grass. Kaziranga is home to the Greater One – Horned Rhinoceros. Return to the hotel. Post lunch leave for the evening safari. Dinner and overnight at the resort.
Morning jeep safari. Come back and post lunch leave for another round of jeep safari in a different range of Kaziranga National Park. By evening back to resort and overnight stay.
Kaziranga - Jorhat - Kaziranga
Wake up early in the morning and start your journey to Jorhat. Here we spend our morning in the Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary in search of the famous Hoolock Gibbon, the only Gibbon found in India. Return to Kaziranga in the afternoon after a fruitful morning in Jorhat. Post lunch leave for the last safari in Kaziranga. Dinner and overnight in the resort.
Kaziranga - Guwahati
Wake up at leisure. Post breakfast, leave for Guwahati Airport. Lunch en-route. Board the respective flight back home.

Kaziranga National Park hosts two-thirds of the world’s Great One-horned Rhinoceroses. Apart from this, one can also see Hoolock Gibbons, Tigers, Indian Elephants, Sloth Bears, Wild Water Buffaloes, Swamp Deer and much more. Variety of avifauna like, Black-necked Cranes, Adjutant Storks, Blue-naped Pittas, Green-billed Malkohas, Black-breasted Parrotbills etc can be spotted here.
- Is it safe?
Open jeep safaris & even nature trails conducted by us follow the highest safety standards, and we take all necessary precautions involved. We respect the wild animals and their comfort, and keep adequate distance while photographing them. However its worthy of noting, that being cautious goes a long way in preventing any mishaps.
- What is the usual sharing in vehicles & accommodation?
The accommodations are always on double sharing basis unless otherwise opted for. Single sharing basis attracts an additional nominal fee, while triple sharing allows you to be eligible for a small discount.
Safari vehicles as well as internal transit vehicles (such as SUVs) are usually shared between 6 people, unless indicated otherwise. Specific Photography Mentoring Tours have 4-in-a-vehicle. Exclusive jeeps can be reserved by a group after paying a surcharge.(group size less than 6)
- How is the climate in Kaziranga?
Summers in Kaziranga are dry and hot. Temperatures reach to around 37 degrees Celsius. The winters are mild and dry.

- What do I pack for my travel?
Apart from the season wise apparels, we recommend you to only wear comfortable clothes with colors that will go with the nature. Bright colors like red, orange, white, yellow etc are a strict no no. We will provide a detailed list of things to be carried before the tour.
- Can I get Veg/ Jain food?
Apart from the stays in Forest Rest Houses; food menu is usually tailor made according to the group. Veg food is available at all locations, and Jain food can be arranged for if informed at the time of booking.
