Ranthambore National Park is located in the Sawai Madhopur District of southeastern Rajasthan, approx. 130 km. away from Jaipur. The formidable fort, which towers over the entire park, makes Ranthambore a classic blend of history and nature! Formerly, a major hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur, this forest now attracts wildlife tourists and photographers, because of its huge variety of birds, animals and reptiles. The most attractive feature of this forest is the diversity of terrain and abundance of water bodies. Tigers are a plenty here which boosts your chances of sighting them. Ranthambore is one of the best place in India to see and photograph these majestic predators in the wild. With our GW Photo Mentor leading this tour there would be endless photo opportunities, with insights into the art and science of photography.
