A tour to Uganda in search of Gorillas is an experience of a life time. This tour involves trekking through the mountains as we track this primate in its natural habitat. The temperature here is pleasant on an average. Highest being 25 degrees and lowest around 12 degrees Celsius.
Yes, apart from having a visa, it is mandatory to have Yellow Fever and Adult Polio Vaccinations before traveling to Uganda. These vaccinations are mandatory in many countries including India.
All treks conducted by us follow the highest safety standards, and we take all necessary precautions involved. We make sure there are locals involved in this activity as they can understand the behavioral pattern of the Gorillas and guide us throughout the trip. We respect the wild animals and their comfort, and keep adequate distance while photographing them. However its worthy of noting, that being cautious goes a long way in preventing any mishaps.
Apart from the stays in Forest Rest Houses; food menu is usually tailor made according to the group. Veg food is available at all locations, and Jain food can be arranged for if informed at the time of booking.
