  1. Day 1 Entebbe

    Arrive in Entebbe in the morning. you will proceed to clear with immigration and custom formalities. Meet our representative at the arrival who will then transfer you to the hotel. Rest and overnight in the hotel.

  2. Day 2 Entebbe-Bwindi

    Depart to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park by a scheduled flight in the morning. Bwindi is home to the endangered Mountain Gorillas. Arrive at the lodge by lunch. Check in and rest, evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

  3. Day 3 Bwindi

    Post breakfast, leave for the Gorilla Trek. You will be accompanied by excellent local guides/rangers and trackers, who will give a talk on the etiquette of gorilla trekking. Thereafter, start your hike into the forest with your packed lunch, in search of the Mountain Gorillas. Only 650 of these magnificent creatures are left in the world today! Expect to adventurously trek through the Impenetrable forest before you encounter any gorillas which is definitely worthwhile as you observe them closely while they eat, play with the young ones, rest and act like humans. A unique and inspiring experience which one can’t miss! The Gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact. There are always park guides with who you interpret the flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the gorillas. Tracking the gorillas will last for a few hours to a whole day depending on how far the gorilla group you are tracking is located. When you get to the Gorilla Family, you will get to spend 1 hour with them which is certainly a memorable experience. Return to the camp after a fruitful day, evening at leisure to rest and relax.

  4. Day 4 Bwindi-Entebbe-Mumbai

    After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Entebbe arriving in time for your onward flight.

A tour to Uganda in search of Gorillas is an experience of a life time. This tour involves trekking through the mountains as we track this primate in its natural habitat. The temperature here is pleasant on an average. Highest being 25 degrees and lowest around 12 degrees Celsius.

Yes, apart from having a visa, it is mandatory to have Yellow Fever and Adult Polio Vaccinations before traveling to Uganda. These vaccinations are mandatory in many countries including India.

All treks conducted by us follow the highest safety standards, and we take all necessary precautions involved. We make sure there are locals involved in this activity as they can understand the behavioral pattern of the Gorillas and guide us throughout the trip. We respect the wild animals and their comfort, and keep adequate distance while photographing them. However its worthy of noting, that being cautious goes a long way in preventing any mishaps.

Apart from the stays in Forest Rest Houses; food menu is usually tailor made according to the group. Veg food is available at all locations, and Jain food can be arranged for if informed at the time of booking.
